Her entertainment career began at fifteen when she became the host of the Puerto Rican television series La Ola Nueva.
She and her future husband Oscar de la Hoya met after he requested she appear in one of his music videos for his burgeoning singing career. She went on to appear in his video “Para Que” and he in her video “En Cuerpo y Alma.”
