About Bill Tytla
Vladimir Peter "Bill" Tytla was a Ukrainian-American animator known for his work during the Golden Age of American animation, in the Walt Disney Productions animation unit, Paramount's Famous Studios, and Terrytoons. In his Disney career, Tytla is particularly noted for the animation in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia and Dumbo. He was inducted as a Disney Legend in 1998. Tytla was also known for co-creating Little Audrey for Paramount Pictures alongside Seymour Kneitel. During his "probationary" year in 1935 Tytla worked on three shorts: The Cookie Carnival, a Silly Symphonies short, first released on May 25, 1935.
