About Dudley Nourse
Arthur Dudley Nourse was a South African Test cricketer. Primarily a batsman, he was captain of the South African team from 1948 to 1951. Nourse is the only batsman to score a double century in the second innings of a Test match after being out for a duck in the first innings. Four matches were drawn, but South Africa won the Second Test at Lord's, and the series 1–0.
