About Irene Greenwood
Irene Greenwood (9 December 1898 — 14 April 1992) was an Australian radio broadcaster and feminist and peace activist. Greenwood attended Albany State School between 1905 and 1912 and Perth Modern School between 1913 and 1917. Driver worked as a secretary at the Department of Agriculture between 1918 and 1920 where she met her husband, Albert Ernest Greenwood, an accountant.
