About Vladimir Maslachenko
Vladimir Nikitovich Maslachenko (Russian: Владимир Никитович Маслаченко; 5 March 1936 – 28 November 2010) was a Soviet and Russian footballer and football commentator. In 1962, Maslachenko won the Soviet Class A First Group (Soviet top league) title with Spartak Moscow. During that period he also played for the Soviet Union national football team and became a European champion in 1960. He earned 8 caps for the USSR national football team, and participated in two World Cups, as well as the first ever European Nations' Cup in 1960, where the Soviets won the title.
