About Kazuhide Uekusa
Kazuhide Uekusa (植草 一秀, Uekusa Kazuhide; born December 18, 1960) is a Japanese economist, economic analyst, former senior economist at Nomura Research Institute, and chairman of the Three-Nations Research Institute. He was arrested for sexual offenses in 2004 and 2006. He then founded the Three-Nations Research Institute and became its president on April 1, 2005. Uekusa joined Nomura Research Institute in April 1983 after graduating from the University of Tokyo in March 1983.
