He played as a halfback, five-eighth and lock earlier in his career. He previously played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Wests Tigers and Newcastle Knights in the NRL, Hull F.C. in the Super League, and Featherstone Rovers in the RFL Champion.
