About Robert C. Baker
Robert C. Baker (December 29, 1921 – March 13, 2006) was an American food science professor. He invented the chicken nugget as well as many other poultry-related inventions. For his contributions to poultry sciences, he was inducted into the American Poultry Hall of Fame. In 1970 he founded the university's Institute of Food Science and Marketing.
