Jean Richepin (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ ʁiʃpɛ̃]; 4 February 1849 – 12 December 1926) was a French poet, novelist and dramatist. Also, Richepin was one of only "seven known recipients" of the first edition of A Season in Hell. He also won the Prix Émile-Augier (awarded to the author of a dramatic work), in 1899, for Le Chemineau.
