Joshua Aaron Phegley is an American former professional baseball catcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, and Chicago Cubs. Phegley was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the first round (38th overall) of the 2009 MLB draft. On July 5, 2013, Phegley was promoted to the major leagues for the first time after hitting.316 with 15 home runs, 18 doubles and 41 RBI with Charlotte. On July 7, Phegley recorded his first major league home run off of David Price. Phegley's first grand slam came four days later against Detroit's Aníbal Sánchez.
