Jason Dior Maxiell is an American former professional basketball player best known for his tenure with the Detroit Pistons from 2005 to 2013. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the University of Cincinnati and professionally in the NBA, China, and Turkey before retiring on August 4, 2017. On July 18, 2013, Maxiell signed with the Orlando Magic to a reported two-year, $5 million contract.
