About Jawad Williams
Jawad Hason Williams is an American former professional basketball player who currently serves as an assistant coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays as a small forward-power forward. He played high school basketball at St. Edward High School of Lakewood, Ohio and college basketball for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. On October 23, the Cavs waived veteran guard Ronald Dupree, and Williams became a full-fledged member of an NBA team for the first time in his career. Williams played in his first regular season NBA game and scored his first points on December 12, 2008, against the Philadelphia 76ers. He started as a senior for the Tar Heel team that won the 2005 NCAA tournament.
