About Peter Debye
Peter Joseph William Debye was a Dutch-American physicist and physical chemist, and Nobel laureate in Chemistry. He published his first paper, a mathematically elegant solution of a problem involving eddy currents, in 1907. He was awarded the Lorentz Medal in 1935. While in Berlin as an assistant to Arnold Sommerfeld, Debye became acquainted with Mathilde Alberer.
