About Tommy Haas
Thomas Mario Haas is a German former professional tennis player. He competed on the ATP Tour from 1996 to 2017, and was ranked world No. 2 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in May 2002. Haas won 15 career titles in singles, including a Masters title at the 2001 Stuttgart Masters, and a silver medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He reached the semifinals of the Australian Open three times, and in Wimbledon once. He reached the quarterfinal stage at each of the majors. At five, Haas won his first youth tournament, in Hamburg. Between 11 and 13, Haas twice won the Austrian Championship, the German Championship, and the European Championship. At eight, he won his second, in Munich.
