About Rodney Hampton
Rodney Craig Hampton is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and was selected by the Giants in the first round of the 1990 NFL draft. He was a starting running back for the 1990 New York Giants who finished the year at 13–3 during the regular season while winning Super Bowl XXV on January 27, 1991. Hampton was a member of the Giants team that won Super Bowl XXV. A 5'11", 215 lbs. running back from the University of Georgia by way of Kashmere High School in Houston, Texas, Rodney Hampton played his entire career with the Giants from 1990 to 1997.
