About Mike Moore (American politician)
Michael Cameron Moore is an American attorney and politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the Attorney General of Mississippi from 1988 to 2004. In 1979, he won election to the office of district attorney for the 19th Judicial District. He won reelection in 1983 with 83 percent of the vote and left office in 1988. In a race which drew significant public attention, he defeated former Jackson mayor Dale Danks in the Democratic primary and won the general election.
