About Jordyn Huitema
Jordyn Pamela Huitema is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Chicago Stars FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the Canada national team. Huitema made her senior national team debut at age 15 and scored her first international goal at 16, drawing headlines as a potential future star. Huitema first came to the notice of officials with Paris Saint-Germain when playing at the 2017 Algarve Cup with the Canadian national team. On June 4, 2021, Huitema scored a header in the final minutes of a 3–0 victory over Dijon to seal the Division 1 Féminine title for Paris Saint-Germain, the first league title for the club. Huitema became the top Canadian scorer in the UEFA Women's Champions League before she turned 20, a record subsequently surpassed by Cloé Lacasse.
