About Todd Martin
Todd Martin is an American retired tennis player. He reached the men's singles final at the 1994 Australian Open and the 1999 US Open and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 4. Martin won 20 of the final 21 points of the match, despite playing with a heavily bandaged leg and dealing with dehydration. He won his first top-level singles title in 1993 at Coral Springs, Florida. At the year's first Grand Slam tournament, he reached the men's singles final at the Australian Open, where he lost in straight sets to No. 1 Pete Sampras.
