About Jeremy Shockey
Jeremy Charles Shockey is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, earning first-team All-American honors in 2002. He was selected by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2002 NFL draft as the 14th pick. The Hurricanes went 11–1 and Shockey received first-team All-Big East honors from the league's coaches, The Sporting News, and College Football News. He was one of three finalists for the Mackey Award, and was named a first-team All-American by CNNSI, and a second-team All-American by the Associated Press, CBS Sportsline, and ABC Sports.
