About Lassana Diarra
Lassana "Lass" Diarra (born 10 March 1985) is a French former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Diarra spent his club career at Chelsea, Arsenal, Portsmouth, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, in addition to two Russian outfits – Anzhi Makhachkala and Lokomotiv Moscow, before retiring in 2019. He was also a French international with 34 caps between 2007 and 2016. Diarra was in Chelsea's first team squad in the 2005–06 season, but did not see much first-team football. This meant Diarra ended the season with three league appearances as Chelsea won the 2005–06 FA Premier League. He was an unused substitute as Chelsea won the 2007 FA Cup Final against Manchester United.
