About Mohamed Sissoko
Mohamed Lamine "Momo" Sissoko is a former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He represented France, the country of his birth, at various youth levels before switching his international allegiance to Mali. Sissoko rejoined Benítez at Liverpool for £5.6 million in the summer of 2005 and made his first appearance in a UEFA Champions League qualifying tie against FBK Kaunas on 26 July. Sissoko scored his first goal for Juventus on 2 March 2008, the equaliser against Fiorentina. He was part of the 2003–04 La Liga-winning squad and became a UEFA Cup champion that same year.
