Sophie Bathsheba Thatcher (born (2000-10-18)October 18, 2000) is an American actress and musician. Born and raised in Illinois, she began her career as a child actress in local stage plays. She later studied the Meisner technique before taking roles in film and television. She made her film debut in the science fiction film Prospect (2018) before taking lead roles in the horror films The Boogeyman (2023) and Heretic (2024), as well as the science fiction thrillers Companion (2025), which earned her a Critics' Choice Super Award, and Her Private Hell (2026). On television, she had her breakthrough as Natalie in the Showtime drama series Yellowjackets (2021–present). She also played Drash in the Star Wars Disney+ space western miniseries The Book of Boba Fett (2021–2022). As a musician, she has released debut EP, Pivot & Scrape, in 2024. On screen, Thatcher first appeared in the short film Growing Strong (2015). After beginning as a child actress in stage plays and minor television roles, she made her feature film debut in Prospect (2018), and later had her breakthrough in the series Yellowjackets (2021–present). Since, she has appeared in The Book of Boba Fett (2022), The Boogeyman (2023), Heretic (2024), and Companion (2025), the last of which earned her a Critics' Choice Super Award. Thatcher released her debut EP, Pivot & Scrape, in 2024.
