About Adam Lind
Adam Alan Lind is an American former professional baseball first baseman and designated hitter. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Toronto Blue Jays, Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, and Washington Nationals. Lind has also appeared in left field. In 2009, Lind won the Silver Slugger Award and the Edgar Martínez Award. In his first professional season, Lind hit.312 with seven home runs and 50 runs batted in 70 games for the Low-A Auburn Doubledays. Lind was a September call-up for the Blue Jays in 2006, and his first major league hit, a double, came on September 2 against Lenny DiNardo of the Boston Red Sox.
