About Amir Johnson
Amir Jalla Johnson is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is a player development coach for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has previously played for the Detroit Pistons, the team that selected Johnson in the second round of the 2005 NBA draft, as well as the Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. This was Johnson's only playing time that game and he grabbed two rebounds as the 76ers won 112 - 101. He made his debut for the Celtics in the team's season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers on October 28, recording 15 points and 7 rebounds off the bench in a 112–95 win. Over the next two seasons, Johnson played a total of 124 games for the Pistons as he became a valuable asset off the bench.
