Andrew James Ronald Lindsay is a British Olympic gold medal-winning rower and former co-CEO of Telecom Plus, which owns Utility Warehouse. Lindsay was educated at Eton College, where he first started rowing, and read geography at Brasenose College, Oxford. In 1994, Lindsay won bronze at the World Rowing Junior Championships in Munich. He won a gold medal in the eight event at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, as a member of the British rowing team.
