Sir Bob Alexander Hepple OLG was a South African-born legal academic and leader in the fields of labour law, equality and human rights. He has been awarded honorary doctorates in law by the University of the Witwatersrand, University of Cape Town, University College London, University of Kent, and the Universita degli Studi di Bari, Italy, and was Hon. In 2013 he was awarded the first Labour Law Research Network Award for Distinguished Contributions to Labour Law.
