Calen Addison is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL) in the second round, 53rd overall, of the in the 2018 NHL entry draft. He has previously played for the Minnesota Wild and San Jose Sharks. Addison was named a WHL Eastern Conference First Team All-Star for the 2019–20 season. Addison was traded by the Penguins along with forward Alex Galchenyuk and a conditional first-round pick in the 2020 NHL entry draft to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forward Jason Zucker on February 10, 2020.
