Finidi George is a Nigerian professional football coach and former player who played as a winger. He is the current head coach of Nigerian Professional Football League club Rivers United. Considered to be one of Nigeria's greatest wingers, Finidi was a physically strong and tall player who was known for his deceptively rapid pace, accurate crosses and efficient dribbles. Finidi was not only known for his technical abilities, but he also possessed a unique footballing brain and solid dribbling skills. He won his first title as a coach on the 11th of June 2023, winning the Nigeria Premier League at Onikan Stadium in Lagos.
