About Kevyn Adams
Kevyn William Adams is an American former professional ice hockey center and executive. During his career, Adams played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Columbus Blue Jackets, Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, Phoenix Coyotes and the Chicago Blackhawks. After his playing career, Adams served as both an associate coach and general manager for the Buffalo Sabres. After arriving in Florida, Adams would score his first 2 goals with the team on March 21, 2001 in a 3–1 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs, his former team. He would score his first 2 goals with the team on October 12, 2000 in a 3–2 win over the Calgary Flames. On January 3, 2000, Adams would score his first NHL goal against goaltender Dwayne Roloson in a 6–2 win against the Buffalo Sabres. Adams would struggle at first with Carolina, scoring only 5 points in 33 games.
