About Mallory Comerford
Mallory Burckle is an American competitive swimmer specializing in freestyle events. Comerford was the winner of five gold medals at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships. She won USA Swimming's Golden Goggle Award for Breakout Performer of the Year for 2017. The following year, Comerford won eight medals in individual and relay events at the 2018 World Swimming Championships. In December 2016 at the World short course championships in Windsor, Canada, Comerford finished 5th in the 200 meter freestyle, and won two gold medals and one silver medal in relays. At the 2017 NCAA Championships, she won the 200 yards freestyle in a time of 1:40.36, tied with Katie Ledecky.
