About Marília Pêra

Marília Soares Pêra was a Brazilian actress, singer and theater director. Throughout her career, she won around 80 awards, acting in 49 plays, 29 telenovelas and more than 20 films. In 1969, she achieved great success in the role of the protagonist in the drama Fala Baixo Senão Eu Grito, by Leilah Assumpção, directed by Clóvis Bueno, the first play by the São Paulo playwright.
