About Marte Mjøs Persen
Marte Mjøs Persen is a Norwegian politician from the Labour Party. She served as minister of labour and social inclusion from 2022 to 2023, and minister of petroleum and energy from 2021 to 2022. She served as the mayor of Bergen from 2015 until being elected to the Storting in 2021. In a written response to the Progress Party's Marius Arion Nilsen on 4 January 2022, Persen revealed that the electricity prices would be around 13,000 NOK in Southern Norway for the first quarter. As part of the state budget for 2024, Mjøs Persen announced that the government would spend 20 million NOK to strengthen efforts to combat work crime, social dumping and frivolity in working life.
