John Martin Linton is a British Labour Party politician, who was the Member of Parliament for Battersea from 1997 to 2010. Following that visit, Linton founded and currently chairs Labour Friends of Palestine & the Middle East. Linton has campaigned for electoral reform for a number of years and wrote Labour's Road to Electoral Reform: What's Wrong with First-Past-the-Post? (with Mary Georghiou, 1993) and Making Votes Count: The Case for Electoral Reform (1998).
