Michael Dacher (21 August 1933 – 3 December 1994) was a German mountain climber. In 1979 he and Reinhold Messner climbed the K2 in record time and without oxygen equipment. A primary school in Khadambas, a village 80 km east of Kathmandu in Nepal, has been named after him. Dacher was born in Peiting.
