About Paweł Janas

Paweł Janas is a Polish former football manager and player who played as a defender. He was voted the Polish Coach of the Year four times. From 1976 to 1984, he won 53 international caps for Poland. He was assistant to Janusz Wójcik at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona where Poland won the silver medal. This meant that the third match, against Costa Rica in Hamburg, was meaningless; Poland won 2–1 with two goals by defender Bartosz Bosacki.
