Ronald Charles Brewer is an American former professional basketball player. A 6-foot-4-inch (1.93 m) guard from the University of Arkansas, he was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the 1978 NBA draft. Brewer played basketball at Fort Smith Northside High School, leading the Grizzlies to the 1974 Overall Championship and a 30–0 record. On October 14, 1979, Brewer became the first Trail Blazer to hit a three-point shot in a regular season game. His son, Ronnie Brewer, also played college basketball at the University of Arkansas, and was selected by the Utah Jazz in the first round of the 2006 NBA draft.
