Roy Rubin (December 9, 1925 – August 5, 2013) was a former college and professional basketball coach. He was the athletic director and head basketball coach at Long Island University (LIU), compiling a 174–94 record in eleven seasons. He coached the 1972–73 Philadelphia 76ers — at the time, the worst team (a 9–73 win–loss record) in the history of the NBA — for the first 51 games of the season.
