About Tina Kaidanow
Tina Susan Kaidanow was an American diplomat and government official. She served as the Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs before moving to the United States Department of Defense. From 2008 to 2009, Kaidanow served as United States Ambassador to Kosovo. The new U.S. embassy in Pristina opened, with Kaidanow as the first United States Ambassador to Kosovo. Kaidanow later became the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. embassy in Sarajevo from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, Kaidanow became the Chargée d'Affaires for the U.S.
