About Victor Glover (astronaut)

Victor Jerome Glover Jr. is a United States Navy captain, test pilot, and astronaut from the NASA Astronaut Group 21. He was the pilot on the first operational flight of the SpaceX Crew Dragon to the International Space Station. Glover was a F/A-18 pilot in the U.S. Navy and is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. He was a crew member of Expedition 64, and served as a station systems flight engineer. Glover's callsign is "Ike", given to him by one of his first commanding officers, standing for "I know everything". In August 2018, Glover was introduced as one of the Commercial Crew astronauts, assigned to fly on the first operational flight, and the second crewed flight overall, of SpaceX's Crew Dragon.
